Product Description
Molecular Sieve products are zeolitic materials based on synthetic aluminosilicates. These are produced to be spherical and with a regular, defined, porosity measured on the Ångström length scale. This controlled pore size allows for selective adsorption based on molecular size.
Its general chemical formula is: Mx/m[(AlO2)x·(SiO2)y]·zH2O. M represents a cation, m represents its valence number, z represents the hydration number, and x and y are integers.

Basic performance
It has the structure and characteristics of a crystal, the surface is a solid skeleton, and the internal cavities can play the role of adsorbing molecules. There are pores connected to each other between the cavities, and molecules pass through the pores. Due to the clean nature of the pores, the pore size distribution of the molecular sieve is very uniform. Molecular sieves selectively adsorb molecules based on the size of the pores inside their crystals, that is, adsorb molecules of a certain size while repelling molecules of larger substances. Zeolite molecular sieves can be divided into three groups: small pores, mesopores (mesopores) and double pore zeolites according to their pore or channel system.

The adsorption of zeolite molecular sieve has two characteristics:
(1) The Lewis center on the surface is very polar;
(2) The size of the cage or channel in the zeolite is small, which makes the gravitational field strong. Therefore, its adsorption capacity for adsorbate molecules far exceeds other types of adsorbents. Even if the partial pressure (or concentration) of the adsorbate is very low, the adsorption capacity is still considerable. The adsorption and separation effect of zeolite molecular sieve is not only related to the size and shape of adsorbate molecules, but also related to its polarity. Therefore, zeolite molecular sieves can also be used for the separation of substances of similar size.
Storage
Room temperature, relative humidity not greater than 90% indoors: avoid water, acid, alkali, isolate air, and store in airtight.
Regeneration
Removal of water: dry gas such as nitrogen, air, hydrogen, saturated hydrocarbon, etc. can be used to heat to 150-320℃ and pass into the molecular sieve bed under 0.3-0.5kg/m2 pressure for 3-4 hours, and then to the adsorber Pass in dry cold air for about 2-3 hours, isolate the air and cool to room temperature.
Removal of organic matter: the adsorbate can be replaced from the molecular sieve with water vapor, and then heated to (1). The regeneration can also be regenerated by superheated steam or inert gas at 200-350℃. Exposure to gases that produce explosive mixtures).
The degassed substances can be regenerated by the decompression removal method.
